I have an investment in the Flashes. I fought both his predecessors, and am quite fond of them.

I want to see him become worthy of his namesake.

Precisely that. The world needs a Flash, after all.

I've mentored heroes before. I was never a monster, simply...bored.

I live on the planet, don't I? I want life to continue, and I could be here for quite some time. Don't underestimate the influence that one person can have on the future of a world.

I want to see it last for ages to come.
