It has recently come to my attention that I know not of any of those delightful establishments that seem to lack the ... proper foundations in regular business society. I, of course, speak of those rather unique addresses that one can only come by if one knows a certain passcode.
Should you have any sort of remedy for my predicament, I would always be in your debt (do try to take this as metaphorically as possible, you know how I am with money) or perhaps, you could credit me for a wonderful business proposal.
I am terribly sorry to hear that you've had some difficulty with some addresses. I do know how tricky it can be to gain entrance into certain gatherings. Perhaps if you allow me the time, I will be able to assist you in finding what you seek.
As always, you do provide fast solutions to my predicaments. Pray tell, what sorts of gatherings are they? Heavens knows that I would not mind entrance to a good gentleman's club- not like the ones that they have today. I feel that the loud music and the glitter only distracts from the sad states of their lives. Judgment cast from one would would lay with Jezebel herself, mind you.
The good sort of gentleman's club? I find that those are particularly difficult to find. However, the City herself has the very occasional touch of the classic woven in her streets.
Oh good, I knew I made the right choice writing to the shadows themselves. I am quite embarrassed to say that with the loss of my ward, I find myself both saddened and oddly liberated. Here I was behaving myself for far too long. I'm sure you'll do your best to change that.
My, my, are you saying I would be the sort to encourage debauchery? I'm afraid that while my vices are many, when it comes to languishing in sin, I may fall a little flat by your particular standards.
Shade, Lucifer himself would fall flat to my particular standards, don't you worry. I fear of boredom, you understand. Without certain engagements that I would have back home, I find myself steering dangerously close to normalcy. An antidote must be administered.
I'm certain we could fine an antidote somewhere within the City, can we not? This age may seem drab, but it's hardly like that when you dig beneath the surface.
I'm afraid that as far as proper names go, you know the one to call me by. I've preferred this one for many years. Unless you want to call me Mr. Black.

As much as I value our ... acquaintanceship, I am going to ask you to give me a proper name to send this out to.
Cross.
P.S: If this continues, I will insist that you call me General.
