And this is why Americans have to steal from every
other
cuisine.
And deep fry it.
Ugh.

There, there, I'm sure your tainted palette will recover eventually.

It's a lot of work to cleanse one's palate, you know. Especially when the meal is so foul.

They did in prison, because I complained about the food, I suppose they'll do it now too.

Well really, I don't blame you for complaining.
Speaking though of prison...your thoughts on this probation attempt? Nothing specific, just how you think it would compare.

After what I went through?
It's a far cry better, honestly. I could eat what I want, outside of prison. And there's no...talk sessions.

It really is a better deal, isn't it? Which, of course, makes me wonder how long it's going to last.

Hopefully long enough! Say I DO act out again, I'd hate to get the raw end of the deal.
Again.

I fully admit that you did get stuck with the raw end of the deal with regards to Bonnie and Clyde. Still, I think charbroiled Dorian and later having to deal with my god-awful probation officer evens out the karmic scales a little bit.

Well, burning
is
unpleasant. Did I ever tell you about the time I had a bomb fall on me? I can't imagine charbroiling is much better.

Mine was during the Blitz, when was yours?

Really?
Around the same time, actually. I was fighting Germans for my homeland. I think I went mad, honestly, signing up to fight like that.

See, I enlisted in World War I, so I'd already had enough of fighting when the Nazis rolled around.

My, the early days? I was feeling a bit too...lazy then, I'll admit.
I perked up around the 30s, however. A bomb dropped on me, and then I decided to be a supervillain!

Imagine if you WERE in my world...
We'd have likely teamed up ages ago!
A real dynamic duo of criminals.

We should do something like that again. Just, you know, without getting caught.

You'll appreciate this, though. I had a brief stint as a costumed supervillain over the summer! A codename and everything!
I really don't know how you do it, I have so much more respect for you now.

You didn't like it? It's fun!
It just takes a lot of work, and a lot of drama. What was your codename? How did it go?

Faust and it went terribly. I got beat up by three different people.

You should have told me! Perhaps I could have lent a touch of...assistance.
Although I like Faust. A touch of the dramatic, yes?
